  • Characteristics and behaviors of effective managers
  • Effective verbal communications ( DISC Classic Assessment)
  • Motivating staff
  • Understanding and managing change
  • Promoting teamwork

     

• Session 2:Coaching for Success
  • Identifying coaching opportunities
  • Using effective feedback to correct performance problems
  • Effective coaching actions
  • Conducting effective coaching sessions
  • Dealing with difficult employee situations

     

• Session 3: Performance Management

• Understand the components of performance management and the manager’s and employee’s role in the process
• Setting and Communicating expectations for clarity and change
• Defining and implementing accountability
• Adapting to the needs of the multi-generational workforce
• Understand the importance of effective communication in discussing performance with employees on an on-going basis
